As part of their annual Specter Bash training event, SpecterOps is donating <em>10 free tickets</em> for DU students to attend this year&rsquo;s training.</p> <p>SpecterOps has been a fantastic partner to the DU cybersecurity program over the years, and this event has been a huge hit with students who are able to attend. Getting hands on time with real adversarial tradecraft training, taught by the folks who literally wrote the book on it, is not something students often get access to for free. We&rsquo;re incredibly grateful SpecterOps keeps coming back to invest in our students.</p> <h2 id="about-specter-bash-2026">About Specter Bash 2026</h2> <p>Specter Bash is SpecterOps' annual training event, run with a bit of a Halloween twist. This year it runs <strong>Monday, October 5th through Thursday, October 8th, 2026</strong>, from 9am-5pm MDT, hosted in-person at The Inverness Denver (Hilton) in Englewood, CO, with a virtual attendance option as well.</p> <p>Students can choose from four courses:</p> <ul> <li>Adversary Tactics: Red Team Operations</li> <li>Adversary Tactics: Identity-driven Offensive Tradecraft</li> <li>Adversary Tactics: Detection</li> <li>Adversary Perspectives: Azure</li> </ul> <p>In-person attendees get meals, evening networking events, a costume contest, and event swag on top of the training itself.
