National Cybersecurity Management Case Competition

Two DU Teams get 2nd and 3rd Place

Two DU Teams Win at Cyber Security Management Case Competition

UCCS recently put on a national cyber security management case competition. The goal was for student teams to play the role of an incident response team dealing with a data breach at their company. You can read more about the competition here.

DU had two teams participate, and both of them moved to the final ten after the qualifying round, where they had to create an infographic about insider threats. In the final competition, our DU students did a great job, attaining both the second and third place slots, with accompanying prizes of $3000 and $2000, respectively.

Congratulations to both teams!

Team Members (second place team):

  • John Jones, BS Student, Computer Science
  • Bradford Lowe, MS Student, Cybersecurity

Team members (third place team):

  • Urvashi Kishnani, MS Student, Computer Science
  • Nidhi Madabhushi, PhD Candidate, Computer Science
