Overview

The University of Denver has joined a prestigious list of universities to now be classified as one of the top research institutions in the country. DU is the fourth university in Colorado and the only private institution in the Rocky Mountain Region to achieve Research 1 (R1) classification. DU Joins 136 prestigious institutions of higher education classified as R1 universities in the United States.

Accreditation

The University of Denver is recognized as an NSA (National Security Agency) CAE-CD (Center of Academic Excellence – Cyber Defense). The NSA evaluates and accredits institutions providing cybersecurity degrees and curricula — a rigorous and prestigious validation performed by security experts and members of other educational institutions. It means the coursework of the Cybersecurity MS program at DU aligns with criteria mapped to the US government's NICE framework knowledge units.
