Computer Security from a Free Software Perspective

This first year seminar will combine discussion of computer security issues (including cryptography and privacy), free software ethics and intellectual property (copyright, patents and trademarks), software copyright (which should be of interest to students interested in management or legal issues) and standardization with learning of essential skills for scientific writing.
